Italian registration - Pairing original, rare and unusual - Beautiful presentation - The most famous scooter The Vespa, which Piaggio launched in 1946 to compensate for the loss of its aeronautical activities prohibited after the war, has largely contributed to the popularization of the scooter. The VNA model, the first with headlamps housed in the handlebars, received a new-generation engine and a rotary distributor which brought significant progress in terms of reliability and oil consumption. This version could do with a mixture of 2% instead of 5% from the previous versions. This model was a great commercial success, being considered the "GS for the poor ", while being available at a price that was 30 percent lower. It offered good performance on the road for a very reasonable fuel consumption and an appreciable operating economy. This beautiful combo received a few years ago a restoration that was "intelligent" for the body in order to preserve the state of 'originality'. The fact that it is rare and it comes with its original old Libretto which mentions the presence of a "2 1" places, thus corresponding to the configuration with the sidecar, which is in fiberglass, and is probably a Longhi brand, makes it very special. The whole ensemble is in indeed in a very good condition.
