1968 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior ( EUR 25900 )

Am 27. März 1968 übernahm Herr Gamberini aus Ferrara seine Kantenhaube. Nach den Recherchen des Besitzers ist der Alfa in dieser Farbkombination ausgeliefert worden. Die Registrierung in Italien war FE.109979. Anhand der Steuerbelege im Fahrzeugbrief ist zu erkennen, dass sich diese Kantenhaube bis zum Jahr 2009 in Italien unter dem gleichen Kennzeichen aufgehalten hat. Ein Besitzerwechsel ist nicht festzustellen.

Der GT Junior befindet sich in einem außergewöhnlich gutem Zustand. Die Karosserie wurde überholt und neu lackiert. Der Motorraum befindet sich noch im Erstlack. Die Spaltmaße der Türen und Hauben sind gleichmäßig. Der Motor läuft wie am ersten Tag. Der jetzige deutsche Besitzer lies folgende Dinge erneuern: Zylinderkopf, Steuerkette lang, Ansaugflanschgummis, Endrohr, Stoßdämpfer vorne Koni). Dieser Alfa ist Startklar für die neue Saison und verspricht sehr viel Fahrspaß.

Offered here is an extremely rare and desirable top of the range Mercedes-Benz 300 S Roadster. When new, these cars were the very ultimate of all models offered by Mercedes and at the time of the introduction of the 300 SL Gullwing and Roadster these cars were more expensive when new. This beautiful Left hand drive example has been the subject of an older restoration which included a full mechanical overhaul. Now offered for sale after long term ownership the car is available for viewing in our Kew showroom.

Offered here is a wonderfully preserved Shadow 2 in Honey Gold with Beige hide piped in Brown, whitewall tyres and contrasting coachlines. Accompanying the car is a good service history and it comes complete with its books and tools.

1944 Supermarine Spitfire

This is a quarter scale model of the magnificent british flying masterpiece which so embodies the spirit of Wartime bravery and history. The model has been totally built by hand and has a current CAA airworthiness certificate having been tested and flown succesfully on its maiden flight.

Some 3,000 hours have been spent by the builder lovingly recreating this flying piece of aviation art.

The Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race, billed as the BMW Performance 200 (reflecting the race distance of 200 miles) was held on the Friday afternoon preceding Saturday’s Rolex 24 at Daytona. If one though that the 57 car entry was impressive, then the 71 cars entered for this race in the two classes was even more so, and made the 3.56 mile track pretty crowded at times, which was sometimes problematic for the front runners trying to get a clean lap in qualifying.
