Belgian registration - Superb restoration - In the same family since new - Low mileage - No reserve In 1957 the "Piccola great car" was launched by Fiat which gave wheels to all of Italy, and the car became very popular, that attracted people from all walks of life thanks to its irresistible aesthetics and the simplicity of its mechanicals. Today it has reached the status of a must for car collections, and attracts the friendly look of everyone. The final version of the 500 called L for luxury, had a distinctive finish that was more upmarket. It is equipped with protective tubes on the bumper with a ring in chrome and the custodians and is available in black. Inside is also more carefully made the dashboard features antireflection treatment and comes from the 850 with 'flying' spokes for the steering wheel in black metal that is chic and sporty. Seatbacks became adjustable and improved both comfort and ingress to the rear. These improvements were very welcome and sales exploded for this charming little city car that remained in production till 1975, for 18 years! Delivered new on 19th November, 1969 the car that we offer has only 42,000km and has always been in the same family till 2012. It has seen a complete restoration of very high quality in 2012 in strict compliance with originality and has only 500km since then. The body was laid bare and repainted in its original color of antique ivory (234), the electricals redone, a complete revision of the mechanicals was performed, suspension, new ball joints, brakes, interior are all in new faux black and carpets and hood, five tyres are all new. The file photos of the restoration comes with the car and shows the scope of work performed ... This is a new car that we are selling!
