Fiat 500 Nuova Gamine par Vignale
French registration Box No. 01761326 - An entertaining car with irresistible charm - Even rarer than the Jolly - In beautiful condition, well maintained The origin of the model comes from the idea of cyclist Germiniani, the Fiat dealer in Monaco, and owner of the company General Automotive Monaco (hence the name Gamine) and its counterpart in Perpignan, France, to a make a mini roadster based on the Fiat 500. The latter was presented at the Paris Motor Show of 1967, with the prototype provided by Vignale. The Fiat 500 Gamine bears the signature of the great coachbuilder Alfredo Vignale, and 400 units were produced in two series of 200 from 1967 to 1971, making them rarer than the Fiat 500 Jolly beach car by Ghia. The car is eligible for the Monte-Carlo Historique rally since a car participated in 1969 with the No. 11. It was also used to officiate in the Opening Parade of the Grand Prix Monaco F1 in 1968. The car on offer is a total of 77,000km on the odometer. The seller tells us he has done a major overhaul, in fact the brakes are new, as are the wheel cylinders, the master cylinder and hoses. It is equipped with a new cover, made to measure and of course has its removable hood and windows of origin. . .
