Citroën DS 19 cabriolet
Belgian title - Same owner for 30 years - Sympathetic original condition - Comfortable and enjoyable to drive - From the private collection of a Citroën agent Four-seater convertibles are not an everyday sight, which is part of what makes this DS interesting, in addition to the equipment, the way it drives and its rarity. This DS cabriolet has a great history, having belonged to the same owner since the middle of the 1980s. André Crucifix and his brother took over their father's Citroën dealership that opened in Belgium in 1947. André was the technician and his brother the manager. With their knowledge and expertise, their business, Garage des Ardennes, became one of the most important Citroën dealerships in the country. André bought this cabriolet during the 1980s from the Garage Simonet in Meux, Belgium, and set about restoring the car. It was registered in his name on 14 April 1992, and he subsequently took part in collectors' car rallies in Corsica, in the Vosges and, almost every year, in the Rallye du 21 juillet in Belgium. During this time, André belonged to various car clubs including the DS and SM clubs in Belgium. He has not driven the car for the last five years and would like someone else to have the opportunity to enjoy it. This DS 19 cabriolet is offered in a sympathetic, used condition, with the leather in good, lightly cracked condition. It comes with radio and map-reader. It will be serviced by the head of the workshop at Garage des Ardennes, but will need further inspection before undertaking a long journey. In metallic grey with beige upholstery, the car has great charm with its long-range headlights, and it will be a source of joy to enthusiasts who appreciate the comfort and enjoyment of this four-seater cabriolet.
