Vespa 150 GS VS-5
Copy of PRA certificate - Desirable 150 GS version - One of the best scooters of its time - Excellent handling - The King of Vespa - no reserve Before the arrival of the GS 150, Vespa scooters were mainly oriented towards purely utilitarian features. But then Vespa suddenly offered qualities that made riding that much more interesting. First called the VS-1, the Gran Sport evolved into the ultimate version of VS-5, the most powerful being produced from 1959 to 1962. With an engine developing 8bhp at 7500rpm, and with a four-speed 'box, the little wasp was getting on to nearly 100 km/h, while providing roadholding superior than most of its competitors and bettering most of the sister machines from the brand. This copy of the Vespa 150 GS was purchased in 2001 by its current owner, after receiving a restoration. It will be sold with a copy of the PRA which will help it being registered as a collector machine. In grey, with black saddle, it is a way that is both chic and convenient to use on a daily basis, enjoying one of the best performances of a scooter from that period.
