Thus, the launch of the Benelli Sei (" six ") in 1972 , which went on sale the following year, was a welcome intervention : it was the first six-cylinder machine to appear on the market, and the intoxicating sound of the new engine didn't disappoint the first people to try it out. However, in spite of its dynamic qualities, it was not a huge success and scarcely more than 3,000 examples were produced. The Benelli Sei on offer was bought by the current owner in 2007. In June 2010 he had the bike serviced and tuned, and fitted six new Busso Torino exhausts. Beautifully presented, the odometer reads 54,535 km. Very rare and sought-after, this motorcycle offers the inimitable sound of an in-line six-cylinder engine, with an elegant and aesthetically-pleasing design featuring the Sei's six exhausts.
