--Rosso Chiaro with Black (Nero) leather interior and Grey carpeting, 88,000 original miles, USA specification model with factory air conditioning and Campagnolo wheels.
This Daytona Coupe is documented by Massini. It has had only three owner’s from new and has been with its last owner for over 25 years. It is in its original color combination as delivered from the factory when new. It is also matching numbers. It is also freen of accident damage, straight, clean and rust free throughout.
It was delivered new to Clarke Simpkins in Vancouver, British Columbia. It appears Mr. Simpkins was a dealer because he also took delivery of four other Daytonas at the time as well as a 365 GT 2+2 and 365 GTC/4. In 1973 this Daytona was sold on to Claude Bellanger, its first registered owner and remained in Canada.
In 1978 this Daytona was sold to official Ferrari dealer Yonge Steeles Motors of Toronto, Canada. In December of that year it was sold to Taylor Campbell also a Canadian resident and has remained in his care to date.
Due to Canada’s climate, this Daytona has only been used seasonally, thus its low original mileage. It has taken part in various Ferrari Club America events since new and has remainded in excellent original condition throughout having only been restored when and where needed to date. It is complete with all records from almost new and more recently has been fully serviced with a West Coast Ferrari specialist.
An extremely rare find in today’s market, this Daytona is superb in every way, serviced properly throughout with having three owners from new and in excellent condition throughout.
