1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Fixedhead Coupé by Mulliner/Park Ward ( GBP 47000 )
Launched in 1962, the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III and its
Bentley S3 equivalent employed the 6.2-litre aluminium-alloy V8
engine first introduced in the Silver Cloud II although with larger
carburettors, new distributor and raised compression ratio. It also
came with a four-speed GM derived automatic gearbox as standard
equipment. More obvious among many of the other changes from the
preceding models were the adoption of four headlamp lighting, the
absence of sidelights from the wing tops, and a slightly lower
radiator shell. As well as the factory-bodied cars, bespoke
creations from James Young and the merged firm of H. J.
Mulliner/Park Ward Ltd (now Rolls-Royce-owned) continued to be
available on the Cloud III chassis for those discerning enthusiasts
wealthy enough to afford them. Indeed, as the factory did not offer
a convertible or drophead coupé, a coachbuilt car was the only
option if one's preference was Rolls-Royce style of fresh air
motoring.
One of the most desirable coachbuilt Clouds was the 'Chinese Eye' dropheads and fixedhead coupés built by Mulliner/Park Ward on the Silver Cloud III chassis. This stunning example was supplied to a Mr. J. A. Shellim by the Rolls-Royce dealership H.A. Fox & Co. Ltd. of London W1, it was originally painted in Black Vynide over Shell Grey and delivered on 12th May 1965. By July 1968, this Rolls-Royce was in the ownership of Sir Ian Fraser who requested paintwork quotations from James Young Ltd. In 1979 the car was sold and exported to the USA before returning back to the UK at the beginning of 1990. It was then registered to a Mr Calvert-Thomson who kept the car until 1997 when this Silver Cloud was sold by a Rolls-Royce specialist based in Essex to a Mr. Shu Wing Wong. In 1998, it was acquired by the last owner who set about the mechanical restoration of the car, rebuilding the brakes, gearbox, major engine service and replacing rubber pipes etc. and spending about £5,000 in the process. From 2001, the car has been fully maintained by one of the top Rolls-Royce & Bentley specialists based in Surrey allowing the owner to attend various classic car meetings such as participating in the London to Brighton Classic Car Run in 2003 and being invited to display his car at the 2008 Hurlingham Club Concours d'Elegance in London. This excellent example of the marque is finished in red with black leather interior and is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in February 2014, a file containing copies of chassis cards and test reports supplied by the Rolls-Royce Enthusiast's Club and other paperwork relating to the history of this fine Rolls-Royce 'Chinese Eye' fixedhead coupé; a car of unparalleled style.

1973 Bentley Corniche Fixedhead Coupé ( GBP 27000 )
Rolls-Royce's adoption of unitary construction for its new
Silver Shadow and T-Series Bentley necessitated the reorganisation
of in-house coachbuilder H. J. Mulliner, Park Ward to meet the
challenge of producing new designs on the Shadow floorpan. The
variety of body styles offered was limited to just two; a two-door
saloon or similar drophead coupé - the former arriving in March
1966 and the latter in September the following year. Some of the
frontal panels were shared with the standard four-door saloon but
otherwise the new bodyshells were unique featuring a distinctive
dipping upper wing line with parallel crease and a revised, more
rounded posterior. Despite the price being some 50% higher than the
standard saloons, demand was strong right from the start and led to
the introduction of the outwardly similar Corniche in 1971. Sales
were greatly reduced during this period resulting in a Bentley
being a much rarer car than the equivalent Rolls-Royce. Today,
however, the revival of the Bentley marque has seen a commensurate
upsurge in demand for these rare T-Series models.
This rare Bentley two-door coupé, is one of only 99 cars built between 1966 and 1976 according to the Bird & Hallows book, 'The Roll-Royce Motor Car', with very few built after 1971 sporting the Corniche badge. Finished in maroon, this car has been part of a private collection and no expense has been spared on its upkeep with in excess of £3,000 recently spent having the tan interior removed, cleaned and professionally re-connolised to the highest standard, while the woodwork has been similarly refurbished. Additionally, a bespoke Myrtle steering has been fitted to complement the interior (original steering wheel is available) and new Bilstein shock absorbers have also been fitted. Supplied by Jack Barclay on 26th June 1973. This stunning Bentley Corniche comes with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate expiring in August 2013 and the set of chassis cards and test reports supplied by the Rolls-Royce Enthusiast's Club. This is a unique opportunity to purchase one of the rarest post-war Bentleys ever built.

1978 Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible ( GBP 28000 )
The origins of the Corniche came from the continuation of the
1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow coupé and 1967 drophead, constructed
by the famed coachbuilder Mulliner Park Ward in London. The
car was named after the stunning roads along the Cote d'Azur in
France and was an elegant two door car available with either a
coupé or convertible body. By 1982, the coupé had ceased
production but convertibles continued to be built until 1996. The
first Rolls-Royce to wear the Corniche name was a 1939 prototype
based on the Bentley Mk. V, although this was never produced due to
the onset of World War II. The car used the standard
Rolls-Royce V8 engine as fitted to the Silver Shadow and had an
aluminium-silicon alloy block and aluminium cylinder heads with
cast iron wet cylinder liners. The fuel system was in the form of
twin SU carburettors which were later replaced with
Bosch fuel injection from 1980 onwards.
This lefthand drive Corniche Convertible is described by the vendor as simply stunning having only covered 64,000 miles since being registered in 1978 in the USA. Imported to the United Kingdom in 2012 from Florida, it has been fully checked through and is ready for use. Finished in bronze with tan leather interior, the condition of this Corniche Convertible has to be viewed to be appreciated; with the unmarked carpets as original as the power hood. This Corniche is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in December 2013 and a copy of the Certificate of Title from the State of Florida. It is rare to see such a splendid example as this, and clearly this Rolls-Royce Corniche will provide elegant touring for years to come.

1971 Rolls-Royce Corniche Fixedhead Coupé ( GBP 17000 )
The Corniche was Rolls-Royce's coupé and convertible version of
the Silver Shadow and was produced between 1971 and 1996. It was
originally named 'Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Ward Two Door
Fixedhead Coupé' before 1971 when the Corniche name was applied.
The exterior design was by John Polwhele Blatchley. The independent
coach maker, James Young, had already custom-made a two-door coupé
variant of the Silver Shadow but Young's model proved less popular
and was soon discontinued. The model was assembled and finished in
London at Mulliner Park Ward as a continuation of the 1965 Silver
Shadow coupé and 1967 drophead coupé. The Corniche was also sold as
a Bentley although that model became known as the Continental in
1984.
This extremely fine Rolls-Royce Corniche has been cherished by all of her owners. Supplied new to Mr. A.J. Bingley in April 1971, the ownership changed in the mid 1970's to a Mr. Caplan. The next owner was Sir Robert Balchin, Baron Lingfield, who purchased the car in 1979 and kept it for eight years, selling it in 1987 by which time the car had covered 68,000 miles. The next owner, Mr. Bradford, only kept it for a couple of years before selling it in 1989 to Lord Abbots-Hay. The vendor purchased the car from the last owner who acquired it from Lord Abbots-Hay in the late 2000's. This Rolls-Royce Corniche Fixedhead Coupé is finished in the original Larch Green with off-white leather, and comes supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires on the 24th October 2013, copies of the chassis cards and history file from the Rolls-Royce Enthusiast's Club, a large file containing old MoT test certificates, invoices and correspondence from the previous owners and the original owner's hand book with the crests of both Baron Lingfield and Lord Abbots-Hay in the front cover. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a Rolls-Royce Corniche with an outstanding history and one that has covered just 22,000 miles in the last 26 years.

accommodation with separate front seats and increased room for rear
passengers. Notable as the last mainstream Rolls-Royce to employ a
separate chassis, the Silver Cloud III remained in production until
superseded by the unitary-construction Silver Shadow in late 1965.
The Cloud represented a supremely elegant design and is often
regarded as the last true Rolls-Royce.
This lefthand drive Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III standard steel salon was ordered by the main Rolls-Royce distributor for the USA, J.S. Inskip Inc., New York and delivered in August 1965 for the princely sum of £3,393 plus extras. It is finished in the original colour scheme of Sand over Sable with matching beige leather and fawn West of England cloth headlining. Extras fitted when new were electric windows, electric aerial and 'Sundym' glass. The vendor purchased the car from Captain William Ruble, US Navy, who kept the car in California from the early 1990's, the previous owner was his father Admiral Ruble who was in possession of the Rolls-Royce in 1973. This Silver Cloud III is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires on the 6th November 2013 and copies of the chassis cards and history files from the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club. A couple of State of California registration cards, invoices and correspondence going back to 1993, when Captain Ruble left the car in storage in California, are also present. This extremely original example is in excellent condition throughout and is properly maintained and stored when not in use.

1973 Porsche 911
1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS VIN: 9113600788 Production No: 1035641 Engine No: 6630780 Transmission No: 830700 Delivery Date: 2-23-73 Originally delivered to Porsche Austria in Salzburg, and then owned and operated by them until October 1974. Subsequently it was sold to the owner of Unit Pictures and stayed in his family until February 1979. Rainer Roth would purchase the car and go on to own 788 for the next 23 years. Soon after his acquisition of the car Roth decided to restore the M472 touring car as a M471 lightweight. Porsche Austria GMBH was engaged to convert 788. They, of course, used only authentic factory parts, including the very rare sport lightweight seats, lightweight carpets and door panels, clock plug, etc. After its restoration Roth drove the car until November 1995, when he began to see the long-term collectability of the car and put it in storage. He finally parted with the car in 2002, and it made its way to the US in July of that year. The deal was brokered through the author of the definitive book on the Carrera RS, Dr. Georg Konradsheim. In 2009 Gunner Porsche Racing was engaged to do some work on 788 and ended up doing a ground-up, nut and bolt restoration. Stripped down to its component parts if was restored piece-by-piece using only Porsche parts. The original, numbers matching engine was rebuilt, and transmission serviced. All original parts were replated or refinished. The gauges were restored, and the interior redone. The car was painted its original factory Tangerine paint, and the decision was made to keep the car in the lightweight trim it received from the factory in 1979. As with all of Gunner's restorations the work is meticulous, detailed, and undeniably correct. 788 is numbers matching, and comes with its books, Certificate of Authenticity, and very complete documentation including restoration photographs, import documentation, and ownership history. The Carrera RS is one of the most revered cars in the Porsche pantheon, and is regarded as one of the finest sports cars of the 1970's. Revealed at the 1972 Paris Auto Show, it was a factory special built to meet the homologation rules of FIA Group 4 racing. The RS (Rennsport) was almost invincible at Le Mans, Daytona and the Targa Florio, often winning outright against pure racing prototypes. It's not often you would see the same car on the podium one day, and passing you on the open road the next. The RS is conclusive proof that one of Porsche's greatest skills was building a car that was immensely competitive at the track, and equally useable as a street car. This Carrera RS captures the impossible combination of eminent drivability, total practicality, and huge fun. Few cars have ever, or will ever, match its ability to dominate at the track and then take you safely back home. With careful ownership and maintenance, this car has been restored to easily last another 40 exciting years. 1967 Chevrolet Camaro ( USD 34995 )
For a lot of us, someday is a day that'll never come. Someday we'll build a car like this 1967 Camaro SS, someday we'll have the time and money, and someday we'll go cruising in it. Well, there's no shame in admitting that sometimes it's just smarter to buy a finished car, and once you take a closer look at this one, you'll realize this is just how you would have done it anyway. Sure, you'd paint yours black, especially if the bodywork was this straight. For pure intimidation, nothing beats a snarling V8 rumbling under a cowl induction hood, and with SS markings and just the right stance, I'm betting you won't get many takers at the stop light grand prix. That's OK, because this car is almost too pretty to risk doing something foolish, with paint that's about twenty feet deep and a mirror-like shine that will make you proud to own a black car. The doors fit nicely and all the correct SS gear is in place, including chin and decklid spoilers, a blacked-out grille, and, of course, the requisite SS badges all around. The black Strato bucket interior offers just the right modifications to make it the ideal travelling partner. All the original gear, including those seats, the door panels, and the carpets have been replaced so it looks like new in there. Once you're behind the wheel, you'll be pleased to find that wood-rimmed steering wheel you've always admired, as well as a Sun Pro tach on the steering column and a trio of Auto Meter auxiliary gauges under the dash. The Muncie M20 4-speed is topped by a Hurst cue ball in the center of a genuine GM center console, so it has a highly finished look inside. With a manual gearbox and a snarling V8 up front, there's not much need for additional distractions, but the original AM radio's there in the dash with an AM/FM/CD stereo head unit neatly stashed in the glove box. The trunk is filled with a new mat and a handy full-sized spare. We have lots of details on the engine, which is gnarly enough to be a legitimate threat, but not so high strung that it's no fun on the street. Starting with a 4-bolt main block, it was stuffed with a SCAT crank, GMPP connecting rods and set of Keith Black 10.6:1 flat-top pistons. Up top, there's a pair of World Products heads that have been ported and polished, and fed by an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and 4-barrel carburetor. Crane supplied the roller valvetrain, and there's enough dress up on there to make you want to pop the hood every time you stop for gas-you know, just in case anyone's looking. The suspension has been fortified with Hotchkiss springs and KYB shocks, and there's a disc brake at all four corners. A 2.5-inch exhaust system fed by long-tube headers and muffled by Flowmaster gives it a distinctive sound, and the floors are spotless. Four Rally wheels wearing 205/70/14 BFGoodrich radials give it exactly the right performance look. Complete with a Protect-O-Plate and receipts, this is an ultra-clean F-body that you can proudly drive and show anywhere. Best of all, it won't cost you five years of weekends to build. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom. For more information, please call (817) 764-8000 or toll free (855) 877-2707.

1979 Volkswagen Beetle ( USD 18995 )
The air-cooled VW Beetle is now legitimately a collector car. Sure, a lot of us remember when it was just cheap, fun transportation, but our kids will never know the joy of a $500 VW that would run forever. On the other hand, none of the Beetles we used to play with were anywhere near as nice as this triple black 1979 convertible, which is definitely the one to own. The writing was on the wall and the era of the Beetle was drawing to a close, but VW cranked out a bunch of these slick black Super Beetles to commemorate the end of the line. By 1979, the Beetle was no longer cheap transportation, either, instead sitting at the top of the VW lineup, and as a result it shows great attention to detail and the same German fit and finish that made it one of the most durable machines on the road. The paint has been rubbed and buffed to create an ultra-smooth surface with no distortions, a fact doubly important on a black car. It appears that even the taillight lenses have been buffed and shined up to match the rest of the car. The handsome black and gray interior is both upscale and practical, and with cloth inserts, is a great place to spend some time in the sun. Most VWs had an all-vinyl interior, which can be hot and sticky, but the stylish gray fabric eliminates that particular problem and gives the Beetle a more sophisticated look. A newer AM/FM/CD stereo has been fitted, along with more powerful speakers in the kick panels, because who wants to hit the road without their sounds, especially in a car that just screams "summertime fun" like this one. VW experts will also note that this car carries factory A/C, a relatively rare option that is often removed and jettisoned during any restoration, but which was preserved here. Up front, the trunk is neatly finished with matching black carpets, and overhead a fully insulated top seals up well and folds easily, where it's hidden by a matching black boot. VW's standard 1600 cc flat-four was the sole powerplant, but when this one was rebuilt, the fuel injection system was replaced by a carburetor, a common retrofit that often improves performance and serviceability. The engine bay is tidy and clean, and includes a correct generator, heater ducting, and air cleaner housing up top. It's linked to a standard 4-speed manual transmission with typical VW vague gates, but once you're familiar with it, shifting becomes second nature. The exhaust system, complete with heat exchangers, is relatively new, and it's been fitted with a set of handsome black-center Minilite-style wheels and 165R15 radials. The 56,000 miles showing on this car's odometer are believed to be actual but are undocumented. Complete with receipts, you'll have a hard time finding a cleaner, straighter VW convertible than this. 1968 Ford Mustang ( USD 23995 )
It's always fun to see the unusual combinations that were available in the 1960s, long before option packages and focus groups would control how we buy our cars. When this 1968 Mustang was born, you could mix and match any way you wanted, and the guy who ordered this awesome coupe had impeccable taste. Wimbledon White is a traditional Mustang color going back to the very first car off the assembly line, and it always works on early pony cars. It's elegant so you can take it anywhere, but also sporting as Carroll Shelby so ably demonstrated with the GT350. On this coupe and combined with a black C-stripe, it has an aggressive look, and with this much eyeball appeal, it's a good thing they took their time with the bodywork and got it right. The '68 Mustangs are just the right size, big enough to be substantial but not so big that they're clumsy on the road, and without a lot of extra ornamentation, this coupe looks awesome in person. Door gaps are good, the hood fits well, and all the trim lines up neatly on the deck lid surround. Chrome, glass, and lenses are all in great condition, making this a Mustang with no need, only a great look that needs to get on the road. The unique code 2G two-tone green interior is probably not something you would have chosen for yourself, but now that you've seen it, it looks pretty darned good, doesn't it? This is what I mean about unique combinations, and fortunately someone had the vision to pull this off. With replacement seat covers, new carpets, and nicely finished door panels, the interior is upscale and stylish, perfect for the Mustang's primary mission. The original gauges look great with clear markings and nice lenses, the original AM radio remains in the dash, and this is a factory A/C car with an R134a conversion, so it's a pleasure to drive even in the daily grind. A full-sized spare, jack assembly, and reproduction plaid mat have been fitted in the trunk, and you'll notice that the inner quarter panels are spotless. Thanks to a J-code 4-barrel 302, this car has the moves to match its looks. Rebuilt to stock 230 horsepower specs and nicely detailed, it moves the coupe effortlessly and delivers impressive punch when you're running hard. Ford Blue is the dominant color under the hood, contrasting nicely with the satin black inner fenders and firewall. Someone went the extra mile and added neat details like the Ford script hoses and tower hose clamps, correct plug wires, and reproduction tags and decals throughout. It's backed by a C4 3-speed automatic and a set of 3.00 gears out back, so it cruises comfortably in modern traffic without sounding busy. A single exhaust system gives it the just the right note, and you know that it hasn't been abused if it's still in original trim like that. The only real deviation from stock are those gorgeous 17-inch Halibrand-style wheels, which wear 235/45/17 front and 275/40/17 rear performance radials. A beautiful, unusual little Mustang coupe with plenty of horsepower will always be in demand, so you can buy with confidence. Call us today! This vehicle is located in our Charlotte showroom. 1967 Ford Mustang ( USD 37995 )
Prices are on the move for Mustang fastbacks, and the fact that they are now creeping onto the market in greater numbers suggests that now is the time to buy. They won't be this affordable for much longer, and nice ones like this Acapulco Blue fastback are the ones to own if you like to drive. Is the 1967 Mustang fastback the best-looking pony of all time? Hard to argue against it, especially when they're this well turned out. Bright Acapulco Blue looks tropical and sunny, but also carries a performance attitude with those white rocker stripes. The two-stage urethane paint is dazzling in the sun, it highlights the many peaks and curves of the stock Mustang sheetmetal, details which often go unnoticed. Dig the crease that runs along the tops of the front fenders or the subtle divide running down the center of the decklid, both of which are highlighted by the gorgeous paint. You'll also note that this one is nicely assembled, with good gaps and smooth transitions from panel to panel. All the chrome on the car is new save for the gas cap, which is the original GT piece. There's also a set of GT foglamps up front, correct GTA badges on the rockers, and a set of sequential LED taillights just for style. The interior is a deluxe two-tone bucket seat setup with fresh seat covers, correct carpets, and a folding rear seat. However, despite all the new gear, things like the steering wheel, door panels, and instruments are excellent originals, which suggest that this car has led a pretty easy life, all things considered. A correct chrome lever for the C4 3-speed automatic transmission sticks out of the transmission tunnel, and there's an original AM radio in the dash. The optional folding rear seat makes the fastback one of the more practical muscle cars, giving you a ton of space for just about anything you're likely to carry, even if it's just luggage for you and a friend for a long trip out west somewhere. That appears to be the original trunk mat, and it also includes a full-sized spare tire. The original engine was a C-code 289, but thanks to the wonders of Ford small block interchangeability, there's a stout 302 in its place. Fitted with a 4-barrel Holley, it's quite a bit more powerful than the old 2-barrel 289, and still makes all the right sounds. Of course, without us telling you about the additional cubic inches, you'd probably never notice, since it wears a correct Ford Blue air cleaner with reproduction 289 decal, stamped steel valve covers, and a lot of original equipment to complete the illusion. Underneath, the floors are new and the ever-important torque boxes have been rebuilt, there's a great-sounding dual exhaust system with correct dual tips, and the 9-inch rear is full of easy-cruising 2.79 gears. And nothing looks better on an early Mustang than shiny styled steel wheels, with these wearing fat 235/60/14 BFGoodrich radials. Make this the time that you get on board at the beginning of a trend and put this Pony in your stable today. Call now! This vehicle is located in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom. 1953 GMC P3100 ( USD 43995 )
Back when this 1953 GMC pickup was built, the GMC models were just a little bigger, more heavy-duty than their Chevy counterparts, and while at first glance they may seem similar, the GMC models definitely have their own appeal. If you like the look but don't really fancy yourself as a conformist, perhaps this incredible pickup will meet your needs. First off, there were no pickups in 1953 that looked this good. Heck, Cadillacs in 1953 didn't look this good! The sizzling paint is off a late-model color palette and you can't go wrong with dark red paint on a vintage pickup. Every square inch of the body was sanded and buffed to give it this look, which means lots of time and money were involved in the process, but boy, did it pay off! The doors fit great, and the wood bed floor shines as nicely as the paint does. The five-window cab is the most popular version, with those extra windows on the corners adding visibility and a bit of style as well, while the flared fenders on the stepside bed give even stock pickups a slightly racy look. Nothing was shaved or trimmed, so the running boards are still there, the stock tailgate still proudly wears GMC on its face, and the big chrome grille leaves no doubt as to what kind of truck this is. You can just forget the vinyl bench seat and rubber floor mat this truck originally used and prepare to be engulfed in a luxurious interior worthy of today's finest luxury car. Tan leather buckets with a custom center console mean that it's comfortable enough for a cross-country jaunt, and accessories like a tilt wheel and powerful A/C system can only help. The original dash has been neatly retained and filled with beautiful cream-faced gauges from Classic Instruments, and the striking chrome trim sweeping across the center stack and into the glove box lid, both of which wear a fresh layer of chrome. A modern entertainment system has been cleverly hidden out of view, with speakers behind the original dash as well as in the kick panels for great sound. Someone was definitely sweating the details when this truck went together. The engine of choice is a 350 cubic inch Chevy crate, which only has about 5,000 miles of use since being installed (have receipts). The engine is fully dressed for show yet ready to hit the road at a moment's notice. The odometer says more than 15,000 miles, but you'd be hard-pressed to see any of those miles in the engine bay, which features a smooth firewall, tons of chrome, and zero wear and tear. Much of the plumbing was stashed out of sight, and everything that you can see is either polished, plated, or braided stainless. It's backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and a modern A-arm type suspension up front with power rack-and-pinion steering means it no longer feels like a decades-old pickup on the road. Sporting just the right rake, polished Torque Thrusts and tallish Goodyear radials fill the big wheel wells perfectly. Build receipts accompany this pickup, so you can buy with confidence. Heck, just look at the quality and the fact that it actually has more than 15,000 miles on it and you'll know someone truly cared about this GMC. Call today!
