Chrysler intermediates are versatile, good looking, and great for road trips. There's room for you and three friends on a long haul or six in a pinch. This car's a great example with great cosmetics, factory A/C, a fresh interior and a 440 inch mill under the hood. The deep, modern dark blue paint has more than a hint of purple to it, and it looks great on this Satellite. It's a clean body with even gaps and crisp lines. The hood stripes are a nod to the new-for-1967 GTX, and just like big brother the stripes are on the hood and trunk. Both bumpers are very nice, the grille is nice and the tail panel is finished exactly as it should be. Slash cut GTX exhaust tips poke out from under the rear bumper while fender mounted turn signals are up top. Tinted glass is all around, and the windshield is new. Last but not least, the restorer NAILED the stance-this car sits perfectly! Inside, you're greeted with bucket seats and new parts everywhere. The original gauge bezels have been rechromed, and are joined in the dash by new A/C vents and the factory AM radio. New carpeting is on the floor along with a new gas pedal and brake pedal pad. There's a buddy seat between the buckets which folds down into a well-placed armrest. New door panels, new sill plates, new armrest bases and more are in place. There's even a new set of Auto Custom Carpet embroidered floor mats with "Satellite" script. In the trunk you'll find a new mat, the original jack, the spare tire, and room for a three week road trip. Get packing! Although this Satellite is an original big block car, the 383 2-barrel motor it left the St. Louis plant with was chucked in favor of a stronger 440. Up top, there's a Holley four barrel atop a Holley Street Dominator intake, which is probably the most underrated intake available for a Mopar wedge. Cast aluminum Mopar Performance valve covers seal the rockers, factory HP manifolds pass on exhaust gasses, a new Sanden A/C compressor keeps you cool while an aluminum radiator keeps engine temps under control. Power steering and brakes make your life easier. There's a new alternator, a Direct Connection constant output voltage regulator, a new group 27 battery and new cables round out a well sorted charging system. A Milodon seven quart oil pan keeps the engine internals nice and slippery. Power twists back through a stout Torqueflite 727 transmission with a deep pan to the 8.75-inch axle out back. Exhaust gasses pass through a nearly new set of dual pipes with a crossover. Stopping power is fantastic thanks to disc brakes at all four corners. The floors are solid and painted black for low maintenance. Pirelli Cinturato tires, 215/65/16 front and rear, wrap around American Racing Torque Trust II's and look amazing with the rest of the car's exterior. This is the car you want if you're into driving for ice cream or until a full tank of gas disappears down your favorite highway. It's well built, powerful, good looking and ready to go. Call today!
