Vehicle to be offered for Auction sale January 16th – 20th, 2013 at Russo and Steele's 13th Annual Scottsdale Arizona Auction. Please contact us for more information. This 1967 Corvette Coupe started life as an original 1967 300HP 4 speed Corvette Coupe that was originally Ermine White exterior with a White interior. This is a very rare color combination and from what we have learned - only 12 white/white coupes were made in 1967. The car underwent a 100% complete and thorough restoration from 2000 to 2006 with no single bolt left untouched. The body is absolutely perfect with each panel and gap fitted with the utmost attention to detail and perfection. The gaps of the doors, the headlights and hood on the body are absolutely the best you will find on any midyear Corvette. The paint is blemish free and is some of the finest paint you will find anywhere. No excuses on the body fit and paint. The Bumpers are show re-chromed original GM bumpers. The Chassis was completely disassembled and we started with a bare frame. I took out all the little dings and imperfections and metal finished the entire frame before it was powder coated. The trailing arms were gone through by a guy who worked for GM back in the day who had the special Jig's set up with the shims to get the bearings set to the perfect tolerances for long reliable service. The engine is a brand new GM performance ZZ4 350 that was ordered from the GM catalog and then assembled. The exhaust consists of hand made and specifically designed headers for this car that were mated to the factory side exhaust. There are no dents from (making them fit) or interference with any of the clutch linkage. They were Jet Hot coated and look beautiful and are a very nice touch in the engine compartment. The car is powerful and pulls very hard when you accelerate but most of all it is smooth and very user friendly in all the gears. The engine bay is mainly comprised of all GM parts and Corvette stuff. We used GM performance catalog valve covers and everything else is pretty much GM factory performance parts. This makes it very easy to service and work on and make the car very reliable. The Radiator is a Dewitt Aluminum Radiator and the car does not have any overheating issues and has resided in sunny warm Phoenix it's entire life since completion. The tires were just replaced this past year with new Redline Radials. The interior was installed with very great care in using original GM dash pads and the leather seats were assembled using hand picked select leather hides for the seat covers ensuring nice soft leather. The gauges were all restored and all work properly. The floors are insulated and the cockpit does not get the heat from the engine compartment like the original cars did. The original AF/FM radio was restored and works good. The interior still smells new. This is due to the extensive cleaning of the complete cockpit prior to installing the interior. The car is very fresh and has had very little use since the restoration. The car has had the care and detail put into it that only a car builder doing this for himself could do. This car consumed 100's of hours just doing the little things to make it right. It would be very hard to find another midyear Corvette with this much attention to detail put into it.
