Exterior Color: Red
Interior Color: Black

Born out of the sole desire to win NASCAR races, the Charger 500 is far more rare than its winged cousins, the Charger Daytona and Plymouth Superbird. The ’69 Charger 500 was the opening shot in the Ford versus Chrysler NASCAR wars of 1969 and 1970. While the total production numbers remain clouded with controversy, the generally accepted number is a grand total of 392 examples. This particular Charger 500 was built on November 16, 1968. It received a complete restoration in 1997. Amazingly, the broadcast sheet for this car was discovered when a collector in Texas was restoring another charger and found the broadcast sheet for this car. He sent it to Galen Govier, who united the car and broadcast sheet.
