Showroom new condition, 1978 Cadillac Seville Milan Roadster Convertible Milan coach builders inc. Build Milan roadster for Cadillac and specialty car dealers who shipped the Seville’s to California for conversions into Milans. The cost of these conversions was $15,000.00 and production at their Simi Valley production lines began in 1976. The dealer’s cars all have “Milan” emblems on the front fender and a fiberglass insert behind the seats. These cars have either the optional Milan installed fiberglass hood and stainless steel RR type grill or the standard Seville factory hood and grille. Milan had no affiliation with the Cadillac division of general motors. GM did not send any Sevilles to Milan for conversion. Cars were ordered from, or provided by Cadillac dealers, or by customer who already owned a '76-'79 4-door Seville. This particular vehicle started life as an Arizona loaded 4-door Seville. Power steering, power 4 wheel disc brakes, power windows, am/fm radio with power antenna and a/c with auto-temp control. These Sevilles were powered by the venerable 350 ci v8 fuel injected corporate engine from the Oldsmobile division, that gm used for many years in all divisions. It is mated to durable turbo 400 transmission. The Seville’s had a base sticker price $14,712.00 in 1978. This Seville was transformed to the Milan roadster with a wheelbase of 96 inches. The overall roadster body measures 15.6 feet with an overall height of 56 inches. This Seville started as an Arizona vehicle and spent its entire life in Arizona racking up only 63,478 actual miles. This vehicle just went through a freshening-up, with a new stay fast convertible top, new upholstery and new dark blue metallic over medium blue two stage PPG paint. It even has the original space saver tire with original carbon dioxide Canister.
