I am selling my wonderful Etype Jaguar. Signal Red with Black Leather, it is the most desirable version of the Etype range being a late Series 1 4.2 litre built in November 1965 with matching numbers. The body was taken back to bare metal in the 90's and beautifully resprayed to an amazing standard. Since the renovation it has been stored in air conditioned weather proof garaging.
This car is one of the finest original Etypes on the market with a few very welcome upgrades, wider wheels, electronic ignition, kenlow super cool fan and radiator, charging point off dash, spin off oil filter, upgraded brakes. The engine has undergone a complete rebuild this year with photographic records showing the engine being rebuilt, it runs like new and starts first time. I have replaced or replated every chrome component on the vehicle over the last seven years along with a huge list of parts and small mods like lowering the pedals to suit my long legs. The mohair roof is like new and will come complete with indoor dust cover.
I have photographs cataloging the extensive body off renovation and every bill itemising its rebuild, all the original parts have been kept like the original 16" steering wheel, original ignition etc. The history file is enormous and full of important information confirming the provenance of the car.
