Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this perfect example of the legendary 1985 Stutz Blackhawk in Gold with Tan leather interior. Stutz produced the Blackhawk between 1971 and 1987 and less than 600 units were ever built. These were one of the most extravagent luxury cars ever built and were enjoyed by celebrities such as Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Liberace, Mohammed Ali, Elton John, Paul Mccartney, Johnny Cash and many others. This has to be the best example of the 7th and final edition of the Blackhawk. Every Blackhawk was handcrafted at Carrozeria Saturn in Cavallermaggiore near Torino, Italy. Total production time for each car was over 1,500 hours and additionally 8 to 22 coats of hand crafted lacquer paint that took 6 weeks to apply. Built on a Pontiac Bonneville chassis and utilizing a 302 CI V8 engine, these cars are very simple to service anywhere. The original Blackhawk design was by Virgil Exner and prototyped by Ghia. To create one of the most outlandish designs ever seen. The interior is magnificent with its birds eye maple wood, Connolly Leather seats, Sheepskin carpets and real 24 carat trim. The Inca Gold paint gleams like new and the interior is showroom fresh. With only 963 miles since new, we performed a re-activation service with all new belts, hoses, and fluids along with new brakes. This incredibly opulent automobile is ready to be admired and enjoyed.
