1964 Triumph TR4 (Titled as a 66)
Chassis# CT35521L
Sold new at Glenside Motors in 1966 as a left over 1964 model, the first owner was a dental student in PA. It then went with him one year later to Florida where it remained until recently. It is finished in its original color combination of Black with a Red interior and has only had one repaint done many years ago. Most of the interior is original except for the carpets which have been replaced along with dynamat underneath them. The car appears to have been very well kept and overall is a very straight rust free example that has never seen a restoration and is very solid. There is one small spot on the drives floor the size of a quarter. Rare wooden dash. It has had a webber carb conversion completed but otherwise appears original.
The period correct radio and adapter plate is present as is the original top, tonneau and spare. The car starts, runs, drives, and brakes. The oil pressure reads strong, and the car does not smoke. This is a great base for a restoration, or could be serviced up as a driver with some attention. We recommend that it be gone over before any use. This is a good solid TR4 that has never been a rusty car, solid, honest, with one repaint. Good factory colors and a binder full of receipts and original paperwork.
