This is a very nice Rosso Rubino (burgundy) Maserati Sebring series 1 that has gone through a thorough mechanical restoration. It has the 3.5 inline 6 engine, ZF 5-speed and all disc brakes.

The prior owner purchased the car in 2002 and gave it to a reputable Ferrari restoration shop with orders to "make it right". Over the last ten years I have receipts documenting expenses of $128,388. Please do not think this car was in terrible shape and required a lot of body work. Quite the contrary, the paint and interior were not restored and are essentially as bought in 2001.

The paint appears to be lacquer and is in very good condition. There are two blemishes on the left front fender; please look at the two photos. Personally I would leave as is since the rest of the paint is so nice. The body is in excellent rust free condition with very good body gaps. The undercarriage is dry and straight. Interior is very nice. The leather appears to be at least 20 years old and has just the right amount of patina. The car has air conditioner and uses a modern rotary compressor which was nicely installed hidden in the front right of the engine bay. Complete documented engine and transmission rebuilt in 2005. New tires, including the spare, installed last year. Engine converted to carbs using the proper Weber 42 DCOE (which are a bit unique to Maserati) and proper cam cover.

Car comes with a ton of receipts, copies of manuals, tool kit and jack.
