In common with the rest of Chrysler's 1955 offerings, the Windsor DeLuxe range was completely restyled by Virgil Exner to give it a `100-Million-Dollar Look'. Sporting an extravagant rear-mounted Continental kit, Imperial front grille and White leather upholstery, chassis W5569296 was reportedly treated to a $19,000 restoration of its paintwork and brightwork in 2008 before being imported to the UK the following year. Further understood to have benefited from attention to its carburettor, steering, front suspension and brakes during June/July 2011, the hardtop coupe is powered by a 300.5ci (4.9litre) `Spitfire' V8 allied to Powerflite automatic transmission. MOT'd until June 28th 2013, this striking Chrysler is apparently accompanied by "lots of vehicle information (build card, technical info, brochures, letters to dealers etc)".
