"A car has no business being so desirable" wrote Road & Track, when they tested the Giulietta for the second time. Not only where they impressed with the thoroughbred mechanics in form of its twin cam alloy engine and its inspiring behavior on the road. They certainly also where dazzled by its Pininfarina designed body. No wonder this little beauty became a symbol of its era. "La dolce vita", the sweet life of the late 1950es and one can easily picture a young Audrey Hepburn or Brigitte Bardot behind the wheel sweeping through picturesque Italian villages along the Riviera heading for the nearest café and a chilled, refreshing Aperol.

This Tipo 101 is a Texas car from 1962. It has a little longer wheel base than the first version, the Tipo 750. This provides more room in the cockpit and allows for today's taller drivers to find a more comfortable driving position.

In the years 2005 to 2007 it was subject to a total restoration by an experienced Alfa restorer. The body had suffered minimal rust in the dry Texan climate and needed only minor work around the front panel. Nevertheless it was taken completely apart and also engine and gearbox where totally rebuilt. New wiring loom, hood and interior completed the job.

The car has seen only summer use since restoration was completed and it is in wonderful condition. Mileage since restoration is less than 3.000 KM. EU VAT is paid and it has Danish registration, so no customs or VAT to be paid at import to other EU countries.
