Off the road since an accident in Spain in 1969, this 1966 330 2+2 is for sale as a matching chassis and engine project/ restoration basis. In the portfolio of images (I have taken circa 100 images in total), all aspects are photographed, what you see is what you get – there are no further parts to follow.
Mileage at time of accident is believed to have been circa 11,000 kms
Body:
Complete nose, bonnet, grill and front wings are missing
Damaged scuttle panel
Both doors are present, driver’s door is damaged and panel is removed, passenger side appears ok
All windows except windscreen are in place and have original kite marks
Boot panel fitted but missing boot lock
Rear bumper installed but heavily pitted (number plate lights still fitted), front bumper damaged and heavily pitted
Chassis/ related:
Front body framework has been repaired
Chassis legs appear straight, not checked on a jig. Note there is no creasing to roof panel
Stored for many years in a warehouse, not exposure to major corrosion at all – surface rust only thus should be a good donor chassis
Original electric fuel pump and filter assembly in situ
Pedal box and brake servo
Damaged radiator cooling fans motors
Electric radio aerial motor in boot
Rear lights, driver’s side has a crack
Fuse board remains in engine bay
4 wheels, note one has a large crack from the rear and is unusable, one wheel spinner included
Interior:
All seats in good, original condition, small tear to rear bench seat per photograph. Note some chrome is pitted, front seats are on runners
Driver’s door card is removed
4 original overmats
Transmission tunnel present as are various small carpet/ vinyl trim/ dash parts
Dashboard top
Central 6 switch section with switches
Fuse box cover
Heater control
Handbrake lever
Engine:
Tipo 209, 4 litre. Has been previously stripped, greased and loosely reassembled. All appears complete except for head gaskets. We removed one cylinder head and had a look per the photos, engine turns free.
Timing gears in a separate box, timing chain we suspect is new as it has a Ferrari tag on it.
Propshaft
Pair of bellhousings, one damaged/ repaired
All three Weber 40DCZ6 carbs are installed
Exhaust manifolds in place, driver’s side is damaged though
New, old stock spares include mechanical fuel pump, three air filters, some new regorslava, pair of oil filters
Air filter housing slightly damaged
Both distributors in place, engine mounts still fitted
Questions welcome, vehicle is located in North-West Spain and can be viewed by appointment. Worldwide shipping can be arranged and interesting trades considered.
