Chassis No: VLD1611
Engine No: 8465001
Fibreglass (Ghia Manufactured)
Ford Lotus Twincam - Dry Sump - 5 Speed Colotti Gearbox
Out of approximately 50 Vallelungas two were right hand drive. Chassis No: 1601 - a road car. While Chassis No: 1611, which is offered here is one of approximately 3 factory built competition cars. I Believe the car briefly raced in Italy, driven by Franco Bernabei. Later it was delivered to Colonel Ronnie Hoare of Maranello Concessionaires in England. The car arrived in Australia in the early 1980's and was lightly raced for a few seasons. I have the Australian Logbook.
Quite a great deal of money has been spent on recommissioning the mechanicals and now it is road registered and a buzz to drive!
It comes with two sets of wheels, 1 original, plus a set of Alloy Campagnolo's with a new set of tyres.
It also comes with the original handbook and original steering wheel.
