They were made up of 17 cars in the Daytona Prototype class, 34 cars in the GT class and 6 cars in the GX class, but only 56 cars took the start, as the # 93 Turner Motorsport BMW M3 was a non-starter in the GT class, after accident damage in practice caused its withdrawal.
