Alfa Romeo 1300 GTA Junior ‘Stradale’
This pretty GTA was consigned by Alfa Romeo to Autodelta for conversion into a lightweight GTA in June 1969 and sold to Spain in March 1970. We understand that the car appeared on the Autodelta stand at the Spanish motor show. A letter in the history file from Alfa Romeo confirms the chassis number and delivery date.
Being a ‘Stradale’ chassis 776060 is in road trim and is completely original aside the addition of a discreet roll cage. The car was comprehensively restored in Italy and has seen little use since this work was carried out.
Good examples of the GTA are steadily increasing in value and not only make an excellent investment but are eligible for a wide variety of events. Highly recommended.
