1969 Chevrolet Caprice Sport Coupe
Chassis Number: 166479T054997
14,123 Original miles!
This completely original and unrestored example is simply stunning! The Caprice was Chevrolet's flagship and after one drive in this amazingly well preserved 14,000 mile classic, you’ll see why. It is incredibly comfortable, smooth and powerful. Originally ordered and sold new at H.B. Chevrolet in Flushing, New York. This car was the original owners pride and joy, always garaged and driven only on Sundays. After owning the car for many years but only putting 9500 miles on it, the owners sold it to their cousin and at that point the car was still used as a Sunday driver, mostly to car shows. It was then sold to a collector that mostly stored the car and only occasionally trailering it to shows. Everything on the car works beautifully including the ice cold factory A/C. The car truly makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time, the way the doors shut, the way it starts without even turning over twice and the way it still smells new inside. The factory original Garnet Red paint is stunning and comes with great documentation. This includes the original order form, the vehicle invoice, the protect-o-plate and much more. This car is loaded with the following options: 327 cubic inch V-8 engine, Turbo Hydra-matic automatic transmission, factory "4-Season" air conditioning, power windows, power steering, power brakes, deluxe interior featuring "Strato-bucket" front seats, vinyl top, original double stripe Firestone 8.25-14 tires, am/fm stereo, rear fender skirts, door edge guards, front and rear bumper guards.
