Housing was very corroded and difficult to disassemble due to heavy corrosion. (1 of 4). Take car for another extended drive. Water temp. Never went over 185 degrees f. On the gauge. Water temp, was as low as 170 degrees f when moving or on the highway. Oil temp. would reach 210 degrees f. under constant acceleration and traffic. Oil temp. would cool a bit down to 200 degrees f. on the open highway. Replace supplied 7 psi coolant pressure cap with proper 14.7, check for popping in exhaust system under deceleration. Check advance curve, clean and lubricate advance mechanism. Adjust points. Set timing. Replace coolant hoses from engine compartment to radiator. Fill cooling system with fresh antifreeze mixture and bleed. Replace fuel pump and rubber mounts; engine running rough at idle and part throttle at times. R&r air cleaner, removed idle jets. Found debris in #4 cylinder idle jet. Cleaned idle jets and re-installed. Engine is no longer misfiring. Parking brake sticks on. Found pivot pin for linkage, re-assembled and adjusted park brake.
