True barn Find! 1965 Shelby Cobra Replica. We found this 1979 Kellison Stallion tucked away in a storage building covered with dust. We flushed the fuel system, changed the spark plugs and changed the oil. One turn of the key and this monster came back to life! Nothing sounds like a Ford 427 SOHC Cammer! Backed by a 4-speed manual transmission with a fresh clutch and scatter shield, this is the ultimate package! The Kellison Stallion was was a limited production luxury sports car designed and built from 1976-1980. Only 117 were reportedly built for collectors around the world! This particular Stallion was sold new to a doctor in Ohio who immediately dropped a 1966 427 tunnel port engine in it. Over time, it proved to be unreliable, so a Ford 427 SOHC Cammer motor was purchased for Mel Clark in Miami Florida and was installed. Documents show this 427 SOHC Cammer received a full disassembly prior to purchase along with an aircraft quality inspection & magna flux. any parts that did not meet or exceed stringent standards were replaced. It was then balanced, blueprinted and assembled with dual quad carbs. Dyno reportedly showed approximately 700hp! It was then shipped to Jeqs Automotive race car division in Columbus Ohio to be installed in this 1979 Kellison Stallion. Car was driven locally and not raced. It was then sold to the second owner who put very few miles on it before storing it. This Ford 427 SOHC Cammer motor said to have had 3,000 - 4,000 miles since completion. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Ford history! Documented ownership from day one and every receipt from the time the car was new! As with all automobiles of this vintage, it is being sold as-is. Complete
with records and keys.
