Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this spectacular Southern Californian 1972 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in Shell Grey over Porcelain White with Black leather interior. This incredible example has 61,762 original miles since new. Used mainly by the lady owner to drive from her home in Holmby Hills to her home in Palm Springs. Purchased by its original owner from Charles Hornburg Motor Cars in Beverly Hills and serviced by them for most of its early life. This is one of the most attractive Silver Shadows we have ever seen due to its overall condition and fantastic color scheme. The paint for the most part is very presentable with the typical laquer checking in certain places (as shown). The interior is stunning with virtually perfect original un-redyed supple black leather, gorgeous wood trim, correct wilton carpeting & wood headliner. Mechanically the car is superb, its 6.75 L motor quiet and smoooth as it should be. There is no smoke on start up and at idle you would not know the car was running. Shifts perfectly. The steering is excellent and the brakes perfectly adjusted. The suspension is great and the ride quality is exactly as it should be. All the gauges work as they should and the air conditioning is ice cold. The body is in great condition and all the chrome is excellent. Overall this is a fantastic example of the world's finest motor car. Most of these are fairly decrepid due to age and maintainance costs - this one is a real anomoly - it looks runs and drives like its 7 or 8 years old not 41.
