BMW R 25/3 monoc ylindre 250
French title Engine n° 3273710 - Simple, strong bike - Enjoyable and easy to use - A legendary marque The R 25 was continually developed over the years, and the R 25/3 version, benefitting from these improvements, became an important commercial success. In a short space of time it became BMW's biggest seller worldwide with some 47,700 examples produced. The R 25/3 was fitted with alloy wheels, a larger fuel tank and larger drums. The R 25/3 on offer was bought by the current owner from an Alsation collection at the start of the 1990s. It had been restored and remains in reasonable condition today. Although the registration document records the date it entered circulation as " 00.00.1952 ", there is much to suggest, including the frame number, that this is a later machine, from 1955. Here is a simple and enjoyable bike to ride, perfect for leisurely jaunts along country lanes.
