The 69 Yenko Camaro is considered by most as the Holy Grail of muscle cars. Perhaps the best known of the racing dealers was Don Yenko, from Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Wanting more performance than the 396 Camaro would give, Yanko Sports cars created the Yanko super Camaro by installing the 427 cid 425 hp engines. The popularity of these super cars grew so fast from 67 to 68, Yenko couldn't keep up with the demand so he approached Chevrolet about the possibility of getting factory equipped 427 Camaros. This led to the birth of the COPO 9561 AND COPO 9737. This example has undergone a complete nut and bolt concourse restoration to the most exacting standards. Finished in the very popular LeMans blue with black interior. Having only 500 miles since completion, no detail was overlooked during restoration being upgraded to 454 big block.
