1973 Ferrari 246GTS Dino GTS, This is a regular production "European" version Dino 246 GTS. Assembled on Scaglietti body or Job No. "2574" this Dino was originally ordered and sold new via the authorized Ferrari Agent, M.G. Crepaldi Automobili S.a.s., in Milan, Italy.
In the late 1970s this Dino was imported to the States and serviced and cared for by then owner, Hakim Haidor in Spokane, Washington who is identified in the FOC owner's registry as the vehicle's second owner. In 1993 the car was offered for sale by the Japanese dealer, Cavallino. In 1994 it was a guest as the Mastuda Ferrari Museum Meeting and identified at the time as being part of the private museum collection of Lida Takahito and kept at his facility in Yamanashi, Japan.
After a series of lengthy negotiations, this Dino was purchased in December of 2012 by Symbolic Motor Car Company in La Jolla, California and formally imported to the United States.
This is an all "matching numbers" example, full verified against the original Ferrari production records. It is a relatively rare "Pure" European version, devoid of extra trim and ugly side-marker lights as well as restrictive and weight adding emissions equipment. This Dino has full USA EPA and DOT waivers and releases. It will be sold on a new California Title in our company name. This is a completely rust and accident free example, ready to be enthusiastically enjoyed by her next fortunate caretaker!
