It was especially ordered for Hiram Walker Distillery (Makers of Canadian Club Rye Whiskey) in Winfield, B.C. During the late Sixties and Seventies, if your place of business was more than 15 miles to a hospital It was the law that an Ambulance must be on site. This is one of them. It only has 39,000 original miles. After being decommissioned, It sat at their location until being purchased by Mr. Gary Lang in 2001. He repainted it and applied to Hiram Walker to return it to its original condition and repaint the Logo on the sides of the ambulance. There was not a lot of restoration done to maintain its original look. 1 am the 3rd owner and have only driven it in parades. A true piece of history including a Canadian Club Texas mickey. Documentation includes: GM of Canada build sheet, Protecto Plate, Service Manual, and all the registrations in Hiram Walker's name.
