Exterior Color: Red
Interior Color: Black
Transmission: Automatic
This 1966 Mustang convertible is one of TWO that were purchased and used in the filming of the Clint Eastwood film "Trouble with the Curve" also starring John Goodman, Justin Timberlake and Amy Adams This car was heavily driven by Eastwood himself NOT stunt people including the now infamous garage scene where he dents the fender pulling out of his garage the damage is left throughout the film and is still on the car as it was in the film. Although the car the studio bought was orginally red they repainted it dark maroon and then spent thousands on a custom airbrushing to make the car APPEAR to have rust and other damage that it in fact does not have. Eastwood came out of retirement to do this film as a favor to the Producer, his own daughter. This was his ONLY film in 27 years that he starred in and did not direct himself. Many think he will be Oscar nominated for the film, only time will tell but there are a few things for certain regarding this historic car... Eastwood is not likely to make another film and he only ever drove a classic Mustang in THIS film . The Gran Torino, from the film of the same name sold for six figures at auction and he only sat in it once ! THIS Mustang Clint himself drove in several states on location while filming back East. There are "you tube" amateur videos of him in the car taken by fans during filming days and the DVD of the film is already out ! Don't miss the chance to own a one of a kind custom Mustang driven by one of only a couple of people in history to have Oscars as both a Director and an Actor !
