This is one of 5 1967 Mustang GT Fastbacks produced identically for promotional show cars. As a promotional show car as well as an early production car there are a number of unique features. The air cleaner and convenience control panel are not the style used in production and the trunk and door jambs were leaded and smoothed for show purposed. The car is completely verified from the Elite Marti Report, included with the car. This car is rumored to be one of the cars used for the October 1966 edition of Motor Trend Magazine and it is featured on the cover, the edition is included with the car. The floor pans and frame rails are all rust free originals. Prior to 1968 Ford did not VIN stamp the engines. The engine in this car was completely rebuilt and is believed to be original, is date coded to the car and is correct down to the carburetor. All fluid lines, fuel tank, brake systems have been replaced or completely rebuilt where possible.
