Obtained from the personal collection of Carroll Shelby in a transaction performed in the Gardena, California Engine Development, this is perhaps the last car sold by this legendary car builder. This 2007 prototype #001P features all of the best options possible and is the official prototype Carroll orchestrated as one of his personal project in quest of the fastest Shelby ever created to date. As verified by the photographic documentation, Carroll signed over this ultra low mileage car in April of 2011 for the first time in its existence. A limited production run starting with this car in 2007 and continuing through 2013, the Super Stake supercharger option achieved either 630 or 725 horsepower, this version featuring the upper horsepower figure. Key upgrades included Brembo brakes, special lightweight alloy wheels and sticky Goodyear tires along with modified rear end with increased performance gearing. The interior treatment included dash plagues signifying the order in which the car was built and a special tach package for better engine monitoring. Key underhood suspension and power upgrades are including along with a special carbon fiber hood and unique front splitter. This one-of-a-kind Super Snake is an amazing car with an amazing legacy.
