Presented is a 1971 Styer-Puch Pinzgauer that is considered the most capable off-road vehicle in the world. The vehicles were manufacture for the Austrian Army by the gun manufacture Styer. The engines are made specifically for the vehicle by the Daimler company. The engine is an air cooled in-line four that is very dependable, easy to repair, and very capable of pulling the Pingauer through any terrain in the world. With its 80 horsepower and high torque engine the vehicle can easily tow 11,000 lbs while carrying 12 passengers. The Pinzgauer features a 4 speed manual transmission, that has both a high speed, and a climb low speed. The Pinzgauer is a true 6 wheel-drive vehicle that has the ability to engage any wheel combination from a dash setting. This example is one of the finest examples in existence. A full restoration was completed on the vehicle less then 2000 miles ago. The vehicle only has 32,340 kilometers on it from new.
