Vehicle to be offered for Auction sale WITHOUT RESERVE and SOLD to the highest bidder, January 16th-20th, 2013 at Russo and Steele's 13th Annual Scottsdale Arizona Auction. Please contact us for more information. This 1983 Camaro was referred to in the Car Craft July 1984 edition as the Arizona Rattler and utilizes a set of rectangular port cylinder heads (EPD). The pistons were extensively lightened with Speed Pros to accommodate the high revving rods. Crane camshaft, pushrods, lifters and rockers were installed to complete the bullet proof valve train. An Edelbrock manifold topped with a Holley 750cfm carburetor pumps the venom through a set of braided steel arteries, while MSD wiring and ignition supply the electrical pulse. To deliver the initial lunge, a B&M Turbo 400 with an 11-inch Holeshot convertor was installed and GM’s Dana 44 rear-end translates the power to the axles. If the initial sting is not enough to render the victim helpless, the (NOS) nitrous oxide system is sure to finish the job. There is a lot if history behind this vehicle with a lot of it being documented. All the Dynos and timing changes to get the greatest horse power are all documented.
